A Taste of Kiwi: The Best of New Zealand

There’s still something wild and unknown about New Zealand. For most Filipinos, we conjure up mental pictures of black and white cows grazing on fields, likely thanks to powdered milk cans that we see in the supermarket. For others, it evokes images of little Hobbit huts and a land of fantasy adventures, Quokkas and fun-loving people who call themselves Kiwis.  

But there’s plenty more to the land than we think. At least that’s what star chef Nick Honeyman truly believes. He’s prepared to dive deep, jump off helicopters and pull fresh mussels straight from the sea just to showcase the best food that New Zealand has to offer--moost of which, are not available off the grocery shelves. 

From Hawkes Bay to Central Otago, there are local dishes and delights to sample at every stop of the journey. From salmon, cherries, olive oil, avocados and of course, kiwifruit, that Nick uses to create healthy and memorable dishes.
