Feast on this: Piolo x Japan

Lifestyle Network's newest food and travel show The Crawl takes us to Osaka, Japan to gorge on (okay, virtually) the best Ramen and Okonomiyaki the city has to offer. Osaka is Japan's food capital and is known for its vibrant street food scene, making it the perfect spot for our host to go on an all-out food crawl, which basically involves going to a place to restaurant-hop and sample the best dishes and local flavors it can offer. In case you've forgotten, this is just how lovely a bowl of ramen looks like:

And oh, did we mention that our host happens to be Piolo Pascual? Yep. The one and only. You can click on the teaser below to watch him casually slurping on bowls of ramen, at your own risk.

The Crawl also treats us to a virtual tour of some of the most breathtaking sights in Osaka--Universal City Walk Osaka, the Kuromon Market, the Takoyaki Museum, and the Hozenji Temple are some of the historical landmarks and attractions that serve as delightful breathers for Piolo in between crawl spots.

More than the gorgeous visuals and delicious food, we also get to see Piolo's different, more authentic side. Off-camera, Piolo is a self-confessed travel and fitness junkie, who also happens to love photography as a means of documenting his journeys. In The Crawl, we see him step out of the showbiz limelight, forget his diet for a while, and generally just have a good time exploring Japan.

Watching the show is almost like seeing and tasting Japan through Piolo’s eyes and palate, or like going on a food crawl with your favorite travel buddy. Catch it first on Lifestyle Network during the following schedules:
